OMG last ever post!!

This year has gone by so fast I’m so sad to leave St Bens but I’m really excited about going to college next year. On the week after Christmas I am going to Raumati but only for one week. My family only really has one tradition which is we are not allowed to open more than present before my grandma gets there which is super annoying because she always take until about one o’clock to get here.

Through the years at this school I have had lots of ups and downs although I have to admit quite a lot of downs. I really wanted to have a really fun end of term and time at St Bens and not be in fights or disagreements with anyone, but one of my friends (I won’t say who) is angry at me and won’t tell me why so I can’t do anything to fix it which is really unfair because I think I deserve to know why people don’t like me so maybe I can change and get along with everyone. Even though I know a lot of people just won’t like you through life, now I just want to get along with everyone.

I’m going to miss every teacher even the ones I don’t like as much as others. I’m going to miss every child in the school even the ones that I don’t know their names. I’m going to miss not walking up that drive every day. I’m going to miss that I know just about everyone’s name in the school. I’m really going to miss Miss Bolger because she has been my favourite teacher at this school at she has helped me a lot to learn to LET IT GO! But most of all I’m really going to miss every year seven and eight student especially the year eight girls who aren’t going to wellington girls with me.  

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays and hope people might actually miss me even just a bit. So goodbye it’s been a great two years in year seven and eight. Hopefully I will visit the year sevens next year!

OMG COLLEGE NEXT YEAR!!!

OMG I’m going to college next year I’m so nervous I feel like the last eight years have flown by and I don’t think that is a good thing. But I am still so excited about going to college.

I won’t be going to the same school as most of my friends so I will really miss them. The ones who are going to my school I will see a bit but not as much as I would like. Despite everything I will miss all of the boys obviously some more than others.

I’m really sad about leaving because I have lived most of my life going to this school and I don’t think I’m ready to leave. I will miss Miss F. Bolger so much she is my favourite teacher I have ever had and I was lucky enough to get two years of school with her teaching me and if I do in fact become a very successful actor I will have the Bolgers to thank, if they didn’t give me the role of Krug I wouldn’t have thought I might be good enough and asked to to drama for a full year in college.

I am looking forward to doing Drama next year it will be so fun and hopefully I will learn lots of stuff. Next year I will try to make lots of new friends and join some clubs. doing all of the work form each class will be challenging.

Speeches

This week we did speeches it was so frightening all those faces staring up at me. I think it went well but I can’t really be sure if it did. I don’t think I don’t think I spoke to quickly or to slowly. My speech is about things that only happen in movies I was so scared nobody would laugh at anything but luckily people laughed in bits so that seems like a good sign. I really enjoyed JMK, Ben and Xara’s speeches but all of them impressed me so good job everyone.

City of bones

City of bones is about a teenager called Clary who lives in New York. Clary finds out that she is a shadow hunter. Shadow hunters hunt and kill demons. Valentine is the 'bad guy' he wants to take over the clave (like government) and kill all down worlders. Down worlders are other creatures such as vampires, werewolves and faires. I Can't really say anything more without spoiling the book but I recommend you read this book it is really good and there are five other books in the series and another series that is set before but it is the same story I makes you understand more about the mortal instruments series (City of bones series). People have recommended to read the other series before you read the last book of the mortal instruments series.

Holidays

The Pinnacles

In the holidays I mostly stayed home and did nothing but on the first Monday of the holidays I went on a walk the pinnacles with Aisling, my sister and my father. It took two hours to get there and back but it was fun. Aisling and I tried to make a damn in the stream with rocks and pebbles. Afterwards we stopped and got ice cream, I got a honeycomb magnum it tasked like a soft frozen crunchy bar it was really yummy!!
