Reading Challenges

I haven’t done very many reading challenges because I have been reading a few series that I want to finish and are only in the series challenge. I have only completed two challenges, the random challenge (I read '99 flavours of suck' and the series challenge (I read 3 books from the 'mortal instruments' series), but I intend to complete the ten book challenge and the family challenge in the next few weeks.

What challenges have you done?

NETBALL

I LOVE NETBALL!!! This is my 4th year of playing netball. Most people who don't play netball probably think it's confusing with all the rules especially if you play basketball but it doesn't make netball any less fun then basketball. Before this year I would usually play GD but in this team I either play GK or WD. I am in the St Bens Thistles, our school only has 21 people in year 7 and 8 who play netball so we have three teams of seven so we don't have any subs. Netball really helps you work better in teams and it isn't a sport that can really hog the ball because once you have the ball you can't move you have to pass to another team member or to the other team if it's a bad pass.

I have recently become an umpire for netball and I did a 6 week coarse on going over all the rules. While I was coming this I found out about a lot more rules than I knew about, sometimes I would be like "wait we can't do that!!!" But it was really fun and I'm umpiring proper games but I will be rosters to a team next year.

Agents of S.P.A.C.E

For the past few weeks everyone has been hard at work learning their lines, making props and learning dances. I have a pretty big role because I am Krug (Neon’s assistant) so I have to learn 25 lines which isn’t too much but I have to know what to do in 12/21 scenes/aprons so that will probably be hard but we will do lots of practicing so we can get it right every time. I am in ‘Tainted Love’, ‘Let It Go’ and I’m sort of in ‘Make it Bun Dem’ so I have to do a lot of learning to do. I was in the dance elective so I am teaching room 4 the dance to ‘Everything is Awesome’.
